Parent Support Events

IMG_9361Alpine Academy offers quarterly intensive training and support weekends for the parents of the girls they serve. These weekend events cover topics such as: adoption/attachment issues, parenting styles, planning for the transition home, etc.

For travel planning purposes, you should plan to arrive on campus by 11 am on Friday. The workshops conclude at 5 pm on Friday. Workshops resume on Saturday morning at 9 am. The afternoon schedule often includes activities that involve your daughter. The workshop event ends by 5 pm on Saturday, leaving you the remainder of the weekend.

The parent workshop weekend calendar for 2016-2017 is as follows:

  • Parent Workshop Weekend October 7-9
  • Parent Workshop Weekend February 10-12
  • Parent Workshop Weekend May 5-7
  • Annual Alumni Reunion July 14-16(current parents encouraged to attend)

Detailed agendas for these weekends are available approximately 7 days prior to the event. Check the online calendar for the most updated schedule of events.  Please contact your daughter’s therapist or family teacher as you plan to visit during these important events or you can also RSVP on our online calendar.
