Samantha began her career with Utah Youth Village as an Associate Family Teacher at Alpine Academy in 2007. It was at this time she discovered her passion for being an instrument of change in the lives of young people. Samantha then transitioned to the Families First program, providing intensive in-home behavioral interventions with families along the Wasatch front. In 2014, Samantha became the Alpine Academy School Counselor, where she aids in the areas of academic achievement, personal/social development, and post-secondary planning.
Samantha received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Utah and her Master’s Degree of Science in School Counseling from University of Phoenix. Samantha is also six-times certified in the Teaching-Family Model.
Samantha has grown up in the beautiful state of Utah, which is home to her favorite activities- backpacking, snowboarding, and trail running.
