Therapist

Cassandra Hutchinson joined Alpine Academy in March of 2018. She is a native of Utah and received her undergraduate and graduate degree from the University of Utah. Prior to Alpine, Cassandra gained 12 years of therapeutic experience working with youth and their families in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, schools, home-based services, crisis residential, and juvenile justice centers.

After obtaining her Master’s in Social Work she has had the opportunity to work with various treatment models. Cassandra was a research study coordinator at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. The study focused on research related to adolescent depression and substance abuse in an effort to develop evidenced-based therapeutic modalities. She has worked in the training department preparing staff with sound interventions and provided behavioral consultation in a number of settings. These opportunities have given Cassandra a strong background in family dynamics, adolescent, and community health issues.

Cassandra looks forward to sharing her experience with Alpine Academy. She is excited to work alongside students and other team members in order to equip and empower young women to achieve their full potential and future aspirations.
