Andrea Hancock, CSW
Andrea earned her bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University–Idaho in Marriage and Family studies. She continued her learning at University of Utah earning a master’s degree in social work. She began her career at Alpine several years ago as a behavioral specialist before leaving to complete her graduate degree and is grateful for the opportunity to return as a clinical therapist. She has experience working in private counseling offices, providing both individual and family therapy, and specializes in working with teens.
She is passionate about helping clients better understand who they are and recognize the strengths they already possess. One of the most rewarding aspects of her work is watching clients thrive as they learn how to use those strengths to grow, overcome challenges, and create positive change in their lives.
Outside of work, she is a wife and a mom and spends most of her time with her family. Her weekends are often spent attending her kids’ sporting events or unwinding by putting together a puzzle. She also enjoys baking and gardening—though she will never claim to have a green thumb!
