Debbie Larson graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho and began her career teaching kindergarten. While raising her family, she volunteered in schools, which led to opportunities in music education and eventually substitute teaching.
Passionate about working with students from all walks of life, Debbie hopes to help them recognize their worth and potential. Her personal experiences have deepened her commitment to supporting young people on their journeys. She believes in Alpine Academy’s mission and is dedicated to helping students succeed.
An outdoor enthusiast, Debbie enjoys hiking, kayaking, snowmobiling, gardening, crafting, and cooking. She and her husband have raised three children, and she takes pride in growing and drying her own herbs.
Debbie has volunteered with the Red Cross, assisting in shelter operations during crises, and works with Tooele City on evacuation and shelter preparedness. She lives by the words of Maya Angelou: “People will forget what you said, forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel.” Her goal is to help students feel valued and equip them with the tools they need to overcome life’s challenges.
