From collegiate athlete to PE teacher, Hirkley has built a career around a lifelong passion for sports and fitness. As a football player at the University of Montana Western, Hirkley gained firsthand experience in the transformative power of physical activity, which now drives his commitment to helping students develop their own love for health and wellness.

Married to his wife, Syenna, and the proud father of two daughters, Nevaea and Naela, Hirkley values the importance of family and community. He believes in fostering teamwork, resilience, and personal growth, both in and out of the classroom.

When he’s not teaching, Hirkley enjoys staying active, coaching, volunteering, and spending quality time outdoors with his family. His dedication to promoting physical fitness and a positive lifestyle inspires his students to reach their full potential.
