Jeremy Metzger
Jeremy holds a Master’s degree in Leadership and Management from Webster University and brings decades of leadership experience to his role. Jeremy retired from the United States Air Force National Guard after 25 years of service and also spent 20 years as a civil servant at Hill Air Force Base.
Jeremy’s approach is grounded in steadiness and perspective. Known for his simple philosophy—“just smile”—he brings a calm, reassuring presence to both staff and students. He believes that leadership doesn’t always need to be loud to be effective, and that consistency and composure can create an environment where others feel safe to grow. His background in service and his ongoing volunteer work with organizations like Volunteers of America reflect his commitment to showing up for others in meaningful ways.
Originally from Portland, Oregon, Jeremy has spent most of his life in Utah and considers it home. He is the father of two sons and enjoys staying active through hiking, running, and spending time outdoors—especially when it involves reaching the top of a mountain. He also enjoys smoking meats and bringing people together over good food. An interesting fact about Jeremy is that he’s allergic to most sugar, which makes his hobbies all the more intentional.
