Martha is a Mathematics Teacher at Alpine Academy. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Utah State University, summa cum laude. She began teaching math in 2018 at Logan High School in Logan, Utah before working at Alpine Academy. She loves the classroom at Alpine and how easy it is to connect with her students and learn from them.
Martha believes that teaching math provides students with much more than just mathematical skills. According to Martha, while math is a basic skill that we all must learn, math can teach students that it is okay to make mistakes and move forward. This principle applies to real life situations outside of the classroom, and math is a great way to start learning how to think through situations logically.
Martha loves working with students and seeing their abilities grow during their time at Alpine, and looks forward to seeing many more students grow in the future.
