Megan (Meggie) Chochol, MD, Assistant Professor (Clinical), earned her medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed her General Psychiatry residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and is board certified in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She completed her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at Mayo Clinic where she served as Chief Resident and is board eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Chochol’s clinical interests are broad, and she especially enjoys ADHD and behavior management. Her academic interests include medical education and student and physician well-being. She has been recognized with multiple teaching awards and received institutional grants, published, and presented locally and nationally on these topics. Additionally, she is interested in global health and was selected for international programs in training, which afforded her the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in Valparaiso, Chile. Dr. Chochol is delighted to be continuing her career near the beautiful Utah canyons and mountains as a member of the clinical Child and Adolescent Psychiatry outpatient team at the University of Utah Huntsman Mental Health Institute.
