Samantha Wisell

Samantha is a School Counselor at Alpine Academy. She has been with Alpine Academy since 2007, and has grown in her position since she started. Samantha is six-times certified in the Teaching Family Model, earned her Bachelors of Art Degree in Psychology from the University of Utah, and earned her Master’s Degree of Science in School Counseling from the University of Phoenix.

Samantha believes that the most important part of her job at Alpine Academy is teaching a College & Career Readiness course that helps students explore their identity and how it can relate to finding a fulfilling career, along with teaching them how to pursue post-secondary education or training. She believes that each student is in control of their own world, and she works every day to give them the tools they need to shape it the way they want to.

Outside of her career, she loves to backpack and camp with her two dogs, Ruby and Pablo.
