Gene Smith Home

Opened in 2003, the Gene Smith home was our first house on campus. This home is named after a very generous donor named Gene Smith. Her donation allowed Utah Youth Village to purchase the home and start Alpine Academy.

The home was purchased from Bruce Bolander. As part of the purchase, Bruce donated all the fiber glass fencing that was used to build the fences of Alpine Academy.

These gifts made the Pine Canyon, Willow Creek and Oakridge homes possible. We are so grateful for their generosity.
