Stede & Katrina Lindgren
Stede and Katrina are happy to be a part of the Alpine Academy family. Both are very service oriented people and have a passion for helping teenagers. Their goal is to help students learn the skills necessary for them to have a fulfilling life and reunite with their families.
Stede and Katrina met in Omaha, Nebraska, while performing volunteer service. They have been married since 2017 and have an adorable son, Vallon. Both Stede and Katrina both attended Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah. While there they fell in love with hiking and all things outdoors.
Prior to joining the Alpine Team, Katrina worked as a Behavioral Technician specializing in youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Stede has been in the residential treatment field for several years and in many different roles. While doing so he learned about the Teaching-Family Model and the immense research that has been done that proves its effectiveness. Both Stede and Katrina appreciate the framework that the Teaching-Family Model provides in helping them teach new behavioral skills for dealing with life’s challenges. “It’s so rewarding to watch the lives of our students change as they work on trying new things, behaving in new ways, and doing things differently to improve their lives.”
