Erika always looks for opportunities to teach others, especially youth, about the things she loves. She spent a year and a half living in Sonora, Mexico, and she fell in love with the people, the culture, and the language. Upon returning home, Erika began her college career at Brigham Young University in pursuit of a degree in Spanish Education with a minor in Physical Education and Coaching. She is scheduled to complete her degree in 2019. Erika is a Spanish tutor and a substitute at Alpine and enjoys the opportunity to see students grow and progress.
Erika also coaches volleyball at Stansbury High School and runs a youth volleyball league. She married her husband, Jordan, in March of 2016 and loves spending time with her family, doing any sport that involves a ball, and playing with her nieces and nephews.
