Family Teacher
The Family Teacher will provide youth with a caring environment in which to grow and learn; model and teach social skills, self-help skills, academic skills, and independent living skills; foster the moral and spiritual development of youth; administer the day-to-day operations of a large family residence; supervise and work with other professional Family Teachers in carrying out responsibilities, and maintain the confidentiality of youth and program information.
The Family Teacher is provided a private living area to sleep, shower, and spend time when not on duty and to receive personal visitors. Food, entertainment, household items, supplies, and utilities will be paid for by Utah Youth Village/Alpine Academy as Family Teachers live in and manage the group home.
Associate Family Teacher
The Family Teachers will provide youth with a caring environment in which to grow and learn; model and teach social skills, self-help skills, academic skills, and independent living skills; foster the moral and the spiritual development of youth; administer the day-to-day operations of a large family residence; supervise and work with Family Teachers and other professionals in carrying out responsibilities, and maintain the confidentiality of youth and program information.
The Associate Family Teacher will serve as primary relief for the Family Teacher and complete tasks as assigned by the Family Teacher in order to provide relief and assistance.
Therapist
Therapy reimagined. Small caseload (8) allowing for high investment in each client. Bring your favorite modalities, skills, and tools, and we will support you in gaining even more. Clients are adolescents from all over the country having an immersive residential treatment experience, so you share opportunities to influence students toward change, growth, and progress with certified behavioral professionals who actually live with the students on our residential campus. The weekly individual, group, and family therapy then fold into the larger context of a structured school and evidenced-based residential milieu.
A fun and engaging clinical team surround and support you in this stunning rural setting with beautiful, modern buildings and offices. It’s demanding and difficult work, but with the time and resources to elicit your best in supporting growth and lasting change in these young lives.
