Gina Mataele

Gina Mataele joined Alpine Academy in August 2021, where she quickly established deep trust and meaningful connections with each youth. As the daughter of a retired Marine General, Gina has a strong understanding of the value of structure, follow-up, and consistency. Her empathetic and magnetic personality has earned her a reputation for trustworthiness, as she consistently implements the principles of the Teaching Family Model.

Gina’s dedication to fostering authentic relationships and making a positive impact naturally led to her becoming a Lead Associate in October 2022. Through ongoing mentorship with various leaders and the achievement of personal milestones, Gina was proudly promoted to Supervisor in March 2024.

Gina is an incredibly passionate leader who aspires to implement and model core values. It’s no surprise that she has become a vital member of an elite group of leaders, dedicated to guiding and inspiring the young minds of tomorrow.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Gina is an enthusiastic “Sneakerhead,” with a particular passion for rare sneakers, especially Jordans. Family is the cornerstone of Gina’s life; she cherishes spending quality time with them. Gina also enjoys playing eight-ball, trying authentic cultural foods, and traveling to different countries.
