Gina Mataele

Gina has been part of the Alpine team since 2021. She holds multiple certifications in the Teaching-Family Model and brings extensive experience from the residential setting into her work at the school.

Gina is someone both students and staff turn to when a day starts to go sideways. She has a way of stepping into tough moments with a calm, real presence that students respond to. They know she’s not putting on a front and that she’s genuinely trying to understand them and help. At the same time, Gina doesn’t lower expectations when things get hard. Students report that Gina leaves a lasting impression with the way she consistently shows that she believes in them and will hold them to a high standard.

What really sets Gina apart is her infectious personality and a sense of humor that draws people in, making life at Alpine brighter. She brings that same loyalty and warmth into her personal life, where she spends most of her time with her family, who are a central part of her world.
